Tara
Tara is a talented seventeen-year-old who draws pen-and-ink sketches and
imaginative and colorful landscapes, prefers to communicate visually,
and is interested in animation. She has learned all that she can from a
black-and-white Mac, and is waiting for her turn to borrow a color
computer with Photoshop. Floaters provides her with transportation to an
arts-based alternative school every day, with art supplies, and with the
incentive to finish school: when she graduates from high school, Floaters
will help her get into ASU and will find her a student job using
computers.She is excited by the prospect of possibly working with a large
computer graphics firm after that, and is planning to take a multimedia
course in high school next semester.
