Diane, Matt, and Bubba

Diane has been lent a small Mac SE and modem by Floaters. She spends two evenings a week with Barbara, learning about this computer and its software. She is making arrangements to attend a community college, and plans to study some area of computers. Matt, who is fourteen, can type faster than anyone else in the family. He would like to be able to use a scanner for his artwork, and Floaters plans to provide access to a scanner and to Adobe Photoshop in the future. Bubba, who is only six, uses the computer even more than his mother. He likes to create three-dimensional images and says he would like to create computer games when he gets older. Diane's other two children, Matt and Chris, are too young to use the computer; but Chris, who is one year old, likes to watch the computer more than he likes to watch TV.

Diane has begun to keep a daily log of computer activites, including screen captures which show what was done each day.

Send email to Floaters at sandra@floaters.org. We would love to hear from you.
