Rod: Father Goose Child Care
Rod is the owner of a small child care business, but he provides child
care free of charge to homeless people through his church. Many of his
clients are formerly homeless and have no access to computers. Rod was
initially provided with a 286 to use with the children he cares for, and
was later lent a 486. Floaters would like to give him an external CD-ROM
drive next, as he is acquiring games to use with the children. He will
also be provided with a color printer as some time in the near future.
Rod has created a series of humorous and educational newletters for the
parents of the children he works with, has Internet access through AzTeC,
and is designing a web page with the help of the children he cares for.
He is also preparing a log of computer activites for Floaters.
